Red Bird of Paradise

OK, you know me … I’m no botanist and I don’t really want to learn but I do like to photograph flowers and plants.  So here’s a few shots of our Red Bird of Paradise (at least that’s what I think they are).  I could be wrong because I’ve definitely been off the mark before.  These grow all over Arizona so if anyone knows if this is correct or not, let me know.  I look forward to your comments.  Just click to enlarge. 6. Hey Gina, Love the picture. When we lived in Chatsworth, we had yellow birds of paradise, all over our front yard, but I’ve never seen the red ones, very cool.
