Purple Mountain Majesty

on

Coming in from walking the dogs, I saw the mountains and realized that a scene similar to this is where the phrase “purple mountain majesty” probably came from.  Of course, one of our desert cotton tails posed for me in the foreground.  (One that Foxy and Daisy would like to chase down, I’m sure). 1. Thanks, Laz! What a nice compliment and yes, that view is from the driveway that leads to an outbuilding on the property. We call this the Cactus Ranch because it’s eight acres of cactus. The desert is beautiful and I DO love my mountains. I have lots of pictures of sunsets, etc. I guess I should put them out there. Thanks again for your enthusiastic comment.

    1. Thank you, Suzanne. I do appreciate the beauty here. Sedona, too, is a magical place. There’s an energy vortex that I visited there and it was a fabulous experience.

    1. Yes, I guess photos don’t really do it justice. I complain about the intense heat of summer but it’s kind of a magical place. Thanks for your comment.
