High-Drama Sunset Again

Just had to get out there with my camera after this evening’s storm.  Lots of thunder, lightning, and tons of rain, but just after it started clearing, I got this.  Straight from the camera.  All I did was add the frame. You can see the ribbon of water still standing on the lower left. Thank you, Mother Nature.  Namaste’

  1. Its fantastic how these colours can just appear from nowhere, wonderful capture… It happens to me so often that I see a brilliant sky and no camera, but this is really brilliant… beautiful…

    1. So true. I imagine you see some fantastic sunsets where you live as well. I almost didn’t go out to see anything but saw the pink glow and ran out there. Just in time. Thanks, as always, for your comments, Ray.

  2. Were you in the Crayon Box again? What a beautiful shot. So you turned another year older recently, didn’t stop you ftom being quick on your feet to capture that Arizona Sunset.

  3. So many storms! We only get the dust and clouds from your storms. We have barely got any actual rain. But the storms are making for remarkable sunset photos, including this one 🙂

    1. I love this part of summer in the desert. Thanks for your comments, dear Nia. I’m having a tough time keeping up with all the blogs I follow. You are definitely one I read every time you post; I just don’t always have the time to comment. Again, I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better. XOXO

    1. Sometimes there are those “moments” in time when a capture of this nature is presented to us. It sort of took my breath away to be “in” it. Many thanks for your comments. And you’re welcome to come visit anytime 🙂
