Today’s photo is of a file folder from a set that I purchased to help get myself organized. I like the colors, design, and glossy feel of it. Now hopefully I’ll put it them to good use to get some files organized. My file drawers could be classified as organized chaos. Now there’s an oxymoron for you. Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend and safe travels. Namaste’
Adding this new dimension as a hospice volunteer is opening my eyes to a lot of things about living. I’m not going to go into it right now, but let it suffice to say that today was an emotional day. I usually don’t give advice, but today reinforced for me how important it is to have made some decisions about end of life before we get there. Know what I mean?
The photo was taken on my way home tonight. I just had to pull over and shoot it.

Once again, I seem to be backed up with trying to read other blog posts, comments, etc., so I apologize to all of you. Just can’t seem to catch up. Could take me weeks. Ha! Sure hope not.
On to today’s photo … every time I wear pearls or even see them for that matter, I think of the phrase “pearls of wisdom.” Do you ever wonder how that phrase came about? So I decided to just do a quick search about pearl quotes and came up with a couple that were pretty interesting …
‘All art is autobiographical; the pearl is the oyster’s autobiography’ -Frederico Fellini
‘Why is it that men can be b.a.s.t.a.r.d.s. and woman must wear pearls and smile’ -Lynn Hecht Schafren
I had to share this with my blogger friends and followers. This is my husband a.k.a. WS and his dear twin sister. I guess she would be my WS-in-law???? Anyway, we’ve been having fun while she was here.
They always tease each other because she was born 25 minutes before him. If he could have talked then, I imagine he would have been shouting “Wait! I’m in here, too. Get me out!” LOL. Just my crazy humor right now. Namaste’
I know I said I wouldn’t but I’m adding one more piece from my vision board. I saw a quote today that lent itself well to my vision:
If a single person achieves the highest kind of love it will be sufficient to neutralize the hate of millions. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
