Once again, I seem to be backed up with trying to read other blog posts, comments, etc., so I apologize to all of you. Just can’t seem to catch up. Could take me weeks. Ha! Sure hope not.
On to today’s photo … every time I wear pearls or even see them for that matter, I think of the phrase “pearls of wisdom.” Do you ever wonder how that phrase came about? So I decided to just do a quick search about pearl quotes and came up with a couple that were pretty interesting …
‘All art is autobiographical; the pearl is the oyster’s autobiography’ -Frederico Fellini
‘Why is it that men can be b.a.s.t.a.r.d.s. and woman must wear pearls and smile’ -Lynn Hecht Schafren
Namaste’
One of our many traits … so that we will buy the women the pearls…

How sweet! Yes, I wish sometimes I still had Lady Pearl. She was a beauty. But that young soldier from Iraq always wanted a Cadillac and I felt good knowing he would take good care of her.
