Birds of Prey

Today’s photo is of a couple of Harris hawks (are they really a couple?) calmly looking for their next meal.  I thought they would make a good subject for Halloween, so I added a couple of special effects.  Let the “haunting” begin.  Namaste’

    1. These birds are so cool in real life. They come every evening and perch on several of our trees and just watch us as we walk the dogs down the road. Of course I’ve named them 🙂 Molly & Manfred. Please don’t call the white coats on me, K?

    1. Ah, yes, the Birds! That was filmed not far from where I lived in northern CA. Bodega Bay. The schoolhouse is still there and it’s still creepy.

Nice photo. Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven” comes to mind.

    1. Thanks, Gigi. I can picture this as a book cover for some weird, scary piece of fiction.
