Willie Nelson has always been a man whom I respect. I love his music … all of it.
Yes, there are a lot of other great contributors to the country music scene, but no one outshines Willie in my mind. He’s such a storyteller and, in many ways, a real messenger.
This morning as I was listening to Pandora radio, one of his songs came on that I’ve only heard a few times. I really listened to the lyrics this time.
Just breathe. Maybe that’s what we all need to do these days. Take a few minutes to just breathe.
Take good care of yourself and each other. Namaste’
Hey there, Reggie:
Definitely check out Robert Downey Jr and Robert Duvall in ‘The Judge;’ you’ll find Willie Nelson with a Coldplay tune, ‘The Scientist.’ Breathe is the other song I’ve found after searching out ‘The Judge’ soundtrack … totally neat to see ‘Breathe’ being a father and son duet – Willie Nelson and Lukas Nelson. Your post is timely. My Dad has reached 84 years today (my younger brother brought me into his celebration by way of cell phone … me being in my truck, eight hours north, looking in on my daughter’s youth group). ‘Breathe’ definitely is about celebrating and Loving Life being lived. You’ve a good ear, Reggie. 😉
Take care …

Thanks for your comment, my friend. I heard Lukas sing during the tribute to Willie on PBS just last week. He sounds just like a younger Willie! Happy Birthday to your Dad and yes, I’ll definitely check out The Judge. You take care, too.
