Hubby and I went to breakfast yesterday morning and I absolutely enjoyed one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had in a long time. It was robust, just the right temperature and certainly started my day off right. Coffee is my friend! Namaste’
P.S. Yes, I know I haven’t been blogging for a while. Life has kept me pretty busy and I haven’t felt the passion for it lately, but I’m back and looking forward to catching up with my fellow bloggers. So I’ll dust off my cameras and see you all in the blogosphere 🙂
I saw this sign in a coffee shop recently and wondered how often this takes place in all of the coffee shops around the world. The coffee was great but I didn’t hear any gossip. And that’s a good thing, as Martha Stewart would say – LOL! What I did hear was a few cell phone conversations that I didn’t really want to hear. Just wanted to enjoy my coffee. Can’t seem to escape that these days. Ugh! Namaste’
I believe electronics are like cars … they’re designed by engineers and built so that we have to replace them every few years. Such is the case with my smartphone. It’s been dying a rather slow and painful death for a while now.
So I had to buy a new one. I really like it, especially the camera.
No, silly! I won’t give up on my DSLR’s but I am having fun with the phone. Now if I could just program it to cook breakfast 🙂
This image is one I took while at the Old Mill District in Bend the other day. Great coffee and artwork … a double winner! Namaste’
Most people think of southern Arizona as a dry desert with hardly any green at all. But that’s if you haven’t been here. There are a lot of things that make it green in places. Like the monsoon rains that we have in the summer. They’re now over, but the plants and trees are still loving the effects of our rain, as you can see in the foreground of this image.
I took this shot from the passenger side of the car as hubby was speeding down the interstate. I like it because it has the Santa Rita mountains in the background, the cloudy sky and the foreground of green. Added a slight watercolor effect to give it a dreamy look.
No, I can’t just sit idly by in the car, especially when I have my camera, so here’s an image that I took as we came upon this semi-truck hauling coffee to those Pilot travel centers. I love coffee, so of course I had to share this image with all of you. But I have to say, this is the first time ever in my life that I’ve seen a coffee truck rolling down the freeway. Namaste’
Cold and overcast day so I decided to go with WS over to the local barista and have some coffee and a snack this afternoon. This morning bun caught my eye and it sure tasted good; I ate the whole thing. So what if it was 2:30 in the afternoon!
We then came home and took down some Christmas decorations. Kind of a lazy day. I liked it. Hope yours was really good as well. Namaste’
My sweetheart and I went to a late breakfast today and then off to see THE HUNGER GAMES. We both thought it was a great movie. A little scary in some parts and a bit sad in others, but overall, very good.
Today’s pics are from my camera phone in a couple of places we visited. The java wall sculpture is in the restaurant and the skateboards are in a store that we were killing some time in before the movie started. All in all, I ate too much today. My rationale is that it’s a holiday weekend 🙂 Namaste.
