The Only Kind of Drama I Want

Years ago when my son was visiting us in Tucson from Seattle, he named our sunsets “high drama.” I thought that was a perfect description.

(He came in the summer … what was he thinking? LOL)

This particular image was one I took that ranks near the top of my list of high drama sunsets. I probably have at least a hundred sunset images (I’m a bit of a fanatic). Of course you all knew that already, right? 🙂

The summer monsoon season in southern AZ creates dynamic energy and masterpieces in the sky. I feel grateful to have been a witness to so many.

Circuses and Monkeys

Have you ever been in a situation where you find yourself caught up in someone else’s drama?  I imagine the answer to that question is “Well, of course I have, Reggie!”  Haven’t we all?  And haven’t we tried to “fix” it or intervene somehow, thinking we should?

When I saw this picture the other day on my friend’s social media feed, not only did I laugh my butt off, it made me think of all the times I really could have used this, and believe me, there are too many to count.  Just wanted to share this with you.  You can be sure I’ll be using this in my life more often 🙂

I’ll be getting back to posting some images when we’re back from our vacation.  See you then!  Namaste’

No Vocals Needed

This video of Glenn Beck absolutely resonates with me, which is why I’m posting it.  Some people like what he stands for; some don’t and that’s OK.  It sure seems that he’s had an epiphany, as so many others are having of late.

His vocal cords are paralyzed temporarily so you won’t hear him speaking.  He just uses written messages.  I was amazed and brought to tears.  I admire him for baring his soul like this. Namaste’
