Shame on You, Frank!

While at a local restaurant that displays memorabilia, I spotted this mug shot on the wall.  At first I thought it was a spoof.  I mean, after all, he was such a celeb.  But the truth is that he was arrested when he was just 23 for seduction and adultery.  Shame on you, Frank!  Silly boy.  Check it out here:

The picture isn’t that good but you get the idea 🙂 Namaste’

That’s Life!

I had a friend who had a saying about life … “Some days you get the bear and some days the bear gets you.”  Well, I’ve decided that even if the bear is looming large, I will not be afraid.  If there’s one constant in life, it’s change.  And as I told another dear friend of mine this morning, “In every adversity, in every change in our lives, there is opportunity for growth.”  We just have to have eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to love.

Another thing about life I’ve learned recently is that it’s perfectly OK to let go of relationships that no longer serve me.  I can forgive the other party, wish them a wonderful, blessed life, and then cut the cord with dignity and integrity, knowing that I did my part.  Now my part is over.  So in the words of old blue eyes (Frank Sinatra), that’s life.

Today’s photo is a necklace that I wear every day. It reminds me to honor LIFE and believe me, there are days that I need reminding.  Namaste’
