TBT – Stick Your Neck Out

07.17.15DesertTortoise

On this Throwback Thursday, I chose an image of this desert tortoise.

For the simple reason that she is not afraid to stick her neck out. She has to in order to survive.

It’s the same for human beings. If we stay inside our safe shells, there is no adventure, no real joy, no opening up of our sensory channels.

Follow your passions. Act on your ideas. The world needs your positive energy now in whatever expression you choose to share with the rest of us. We are all connected.

Close your eyes. Think of what you want. Make it into a scene. Evoke all your senses. Focus on details.

You attract what you love, hate or fear. Focus on love.

Be good to yourself and each other. Namaste’

Winter Solstice

Happy Birthday to my beautiful and loving daughter tomorrow, born on the Winter Solstice. (I’m posting this now because she and I will be spending the day together and I’m so very grateful that we can do that).

The winter solstice is the 1st Solar Power Point of the year. It marks a new solar cycle, a new beginning. It is an excellent time to do a ‘QUANTUM LEAP’ of consciousness to pass successfully through this major gateway.

It is this day when the light is shortest and the dark is longest. A perfect time to go within and reflect on gratitude, increased awareness, and how to serve humanity and our planet at this time in our accelerated growth.

I did not take this image but found it on Pixabay and donated to the man who shot this beautiful photograph. It spoke to me as the perfect image to represent this event. I believe it deserves to be seen by all.

So, Happy Birthday to my Winter Solstice baby and beautiful gift from God! I was merely the vessel to bring you here and it was my honor.

Many Branches; One Tree

Many branches; one tree. Would you agree that this describes humanity? Aren’t we all connected? I have to believe we are.

I took this photo while outside waiting for Daisy to do her business. (Either hubby or I go out with her when it’s dark because there’s been a raccoon roaming around the neighborhood lately, and we don’t want any confrontations).

When I uploaded this to my computer, it revealed the numerous branches, large and small, standing in the light … all connected to the same source. Just like us.
