Just One More

OK, I promise not to bore you anymore with pictures of our snowfall, but for us it’s a big deal.  The Sonoran Desert hardly ever sees this kind of storm.  This is the last one, I promise!!!!

This shot is one of the peaks in the Catalina mountains taken this morning (my favorite range because of their granite characteristics).  The highest peak is Mt. Lemmon, stately rising to 9,157 feet.  No, I wasn’t climbing it, silly … I used a zoom lens.  I’ll probably save mountain climbing for another lifetime – LOL!  Namaste’

Guesses Anyone?

Just experimenting with my zoom lens and thought I’d post this.  Any guesses as to what it is?  Hint:  they used to be popular back in my Grandma’s era and are now coming back around again.  Namaste’

Tree Angel

I happened to notice this angel at the top of a Christmas tree.  She was way off in the distance so I zoomed in just to see if I could get her face.  It came out pretty good, probably because I was sitting at a table and could steady the camera with my elbows.  Ooops!  No elbows on the table, unless of course you’re trying to avoid camera shake.  Then there was the beam in the way but what the heck.  Namaste’
